This is my favorite grater, and I have probably around 10 (no kidding). If I had to pick only one, this one would be it. I LOVE it. It makes grating mounds of parmigiano reggiano a real joy. I really like this size because the cheese melts perfectly onto whatever. Generally, every meal I make includes cheese, and thus involves garlic...this grater works really well to pulverize garlic.
I have had this maybe 6 months, and use it numerous times a week, and it still looks and works like new. I do hand-wash it, but it's SUPER easy to clean...way more than other graters.
Get it! You won't be sorry.

When my food processor quit working, I replaced it with a set of Microplane graters (the 35000 series). At the time I placed my order, I didn't know about Microplane's professional graters (the 38000 series). However, after using them, I was so impressed that I sent the 35000 series to my daughter and ordered the professional 38000 series for myself.
I do a lot of cooking, so I know these graters are going to get a lot of use. I'm in no mood to buy another food processor, as I rarely used the one I had and food processors take up a lot of valuable kitchen storage space. The Microplane graters, on the other hand, fit neatly inside a drawer and have protective covers on them.
I'm giving the 35000 series graters a 4-star rating only because they don't look like they'll last as long as the professional 38000 series graters. They are, however, very sharp and do an extremely effective job. I especially appreciate the sliding hand guard. I very seriously doubt I'd use a tool as sharp as this without something to protect my hands.

Forget lotions and potions, pumice,blades and files. This is by far the most effective tool for my feet in terms of ease of use and results.It does the job quickly and leaves my feet with no tough callaused spots!
I was going to use mine to grate horseradish for my roast beef but I love it for my feet alot more. I also love that it's pretty hard to nick yourself, which sometimes happens with the foot blades.
I'm mad at myself for spending what I did on the Diamencel.

This is the best invention ever. It works amazing!!! I have the traditional box grater which doesn't work for fine grating such as a lemon or a lime.
Unlike the traditional metal box grater, this tool is sharp and does the job in a couple of strokes. Very handy in preparing any dish that requires fine zesting.
I still hold onto the box grater in case I want to use it for grating large chunks of cheese or chocolate for presentation purposes, but that's all it's good for.
